The Story

The major inspiration for our dolls comes from the legendary French doll companies Jumeau and Bru who produced dolls in France between the 1860's through the early 1900's. Today Jemeau and Bru antique dolls are amongst the most sought after and expensive in the world.

All dolls are crafted in double bisque porcelain from Limoges, France, which is where the French King's tableware was produced back in medieval times. Hair of all of our doll creations is made from the finest French mohair and the eyes are made of the finest silicone. All clothing is made from the finest European couture fabrics. An example of this is the fact that all of the lace which we use on our clothing comes from a company which is based in Calais, France and has been producing superior quality laces for over 127 years. Shoes are constructed from real suede, leather or imitation leather.

Reve de Porcelain dolls come in a high quality collector's box and certificate of authenticity. In the case of our Limited Edition dolls they come with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
